GPM sprl (“beBeer”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) recognises the importance of privacy. beBeer will manage your personal information collected through the platforms located at www.beBeer.eu and all other platforms and mobile applications owned or operated by beBeer and any and all parent, subsidiary or associated companies of beBeer (collectively “Platform”) based on beBeer belief of respect for the individual and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. By using the Platform in any way, including namely browsing, purchasing and using any of the services provided through the Platform, you agree to the beBeer privacy policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not provide personal information and please do not use the Platform.


1. Information We Collect & GDPR (25th May 2018)

We collect personal information about you to provide the services you request, to improve the user’s interaction with beBeer, and to communicate with you about beBeer activities, beBeer services, promotions and contests. We try to limit the collected information to support the intended purpose of collection. In the frame of the GDPR beBeer may process, store and transfer personal information in Europe.

1.1 Personal Information

We collect personal information from you in a variety of ways when you interact with beBeer through the Platform. Some examples are when you:
• Create an account on the Platform;
• Contact us;
• Submit a review, a comment,… or post any User Content (as defined in the Terms of Use) on the Platform;
• Or otherwise submit personal information to beBeer.
Personal information is information that identifies you or is reasonably linked to you.
The personal information we collect may include: credit card information and contact information such as your name and/or company name, date of birth, gender, address, phone number, email address, location and any of the beer related information you provide us. We may also collect personal information about you through social media platforms and services.
When you ask us to provide services for the benefit of a third party, you shall be legally authorized by said third party to disclose his/her personal and confidential information to beBeer. This authorization shall cover personal information including but not limited to the name, address, phone number, email address and credit card information of the third party. You agree that you must bear all risks associated with the use of any third party’s personal information communicated by you and that under no circumstances will beBeer be liable in any way for any personal information or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any personal information. beBeer is merely acting as a passive channel for the use of the personal information and is not undertaking any obligation or liability relating to any third party’s personal information communicated by you and/or your company.

1.2 Usage Information

When you use the Platform, we receive and store certain types of information about your use of the Platform. Our purpose is to allow the Platform to work correctly, to allow us to provide our services, to tailor-made beBeer activities to your actual interests, to evaluate use of the Platform, for marketing purposes and to personalize and enhance your interaction with beBeer. Some examples include:
We may collect technical information such as your IP address, the address of a referring Platform or application, the type of web browser or mobile device you use, your operating system, your Internet Service Provider, the location of the device used to access the Platform, the beBeer activities you carry out and the path you take through the Platform;
When you purchase services/membership/packages, we collect information about the transaction, such as date of the purchase.

2. Cookies and Web Beacons

We use cookies to enhance and simplify your visit; namely, in order to offer easier surfing on the Platform, to make login easier, for internal security purposes, system administration and to tailor advertisements to your preferences and the like. Cookies are small data files stored on the hard disk of the users’ computer. For more information on how cookies are used on the Platform, please refer to our Cookies Policy. We may use web / app beacons. Web beacons allow us to understand if a certain page of the Platform was visited or if an email was opened or if advertising banners on other platforms were effective.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information and usage information to offer and provide our products and services and to support our core business functions. These include order or service fulfilment, customer service, internal business processes, marketing, including contests, authentication, loss and fraud prevention, public safety and legal functions. We engage third parties to serve advertisements on our behalf across the Internet and to provide analytics services about the performance of those advertisements. These entities may use cookies, web beacons and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Platform and other platforms, such as your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages, date and time of each visitor request, referring site, browser type, language preference, links clicked and conversion information. The information may be used by us and others to, among other things, analyse and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests on our Platform and other platforms and better understand your online activity. We may also work with third parties to serve ads to you as part of a customized campaign on other platforms or platforms.

5. How we Disclose Your Information Outside beBeer

beBeer does not sell or rent your personal information to any third parties whatsoever. We only disclose your personal information with your prior consent or as provided in this Privacy Policy. We may disclose to third parties, certain non-personal usage information regarding the Platform. However, in such cases, your usage information is aggregated with the usage data of others and does not identify you individually.

5.1 Service Providers

We may disclose or otherwise make available personal information about you to service providers that help with our business operations. Examples are payment companies, credit card processors and other payment service providers such as PayPal, financial institution partners, hosting and maintenance providers, data storage and management providers, marketing and promotional providers, service providers sending emails and SMS notifications and generally, companies that help us improve our product and service offerings and our platforms.

5.2 Legal Requirements and Protection of Our Company and Others

We may disclose your information in other special circumstances. These include situations when the sharing is necessary to protect the safety, property, or other rights of beBeer, our customers, our associates, or any other person, or where otherwise required by law. Examples include protecting the health or safety of customers, or addressing crimes committed on the Platform. beBeer may provide your personal information in response to a search warrant, subpoena or other legally valid inquiry or order, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

5.3 Business Transfers

We may transfer any information we have about you in connection with a merger or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving beBeer or as part of a corporate reorganization or other change in corporate control.

We want to communicate with you in the ways that you want to hear from us. If you no longer want to receive marketing messages from us, please send us an email to pgoergen@bebeer.eu. Please allow sufficient time to implement your request.

7. How to Access, Update and Remove Your Information

beBeer takes reasonable steps to keep your personal information accurate and complete. You can access, update and/or remove your personal information, including contact or account information, by accessing your account or by sending us an email. If your Information has been communicated to beBeer by a third party, you can either contact said third party directly or click on the appropriate link at the bottom of the notifications in order to unsubscribe to the service. If your Information has been communicated to beBeer by a third party, and you wish to remove said information, you may send us an email.

8. How We Secure Your Information

Securing your information is important to beBeer. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of information transmitted to us. However, no data transmission over the Internet or other network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect information transmitted on or through the Platform, we cannot and do not guarantee the security of any information you transmit on or through the Platform, and you do so at your own risk.
beBeer accounts require a username and password to log in. You must keep your username and password secure. Please keep your password confidential and never disclose it to a third party. Because the information is so sensitive, account passwords are encrypted, which means we can’t see your passwords. We can’t resend forgotten passwords either. We’ll only reset them.

9. Limitation of liability

Except where prohibited by law, under no circumstances shall beBeer be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages (even if beBeer has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from any aspect of beBeer use of the personal information of any third party provided by you and/or your company. These limitations shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. In some jurisdictions, some of the foregoing limitations may not apply.

10. Links To Other Platforms

Our Platform may contain links to other platforms. A link to a third party's Platform does not mean that we endorse it or that we are affiliated with it. We do not exercise control over third-party platforms. You access such third-party platforms or content at your own risk. You should always read the privacy policy of a third-party Platform before providing any information to the Platform.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

beBeer may change the Privacy Policy from time to time. We will inform you by posting the revised Privacy Policy on the Platform. Please check our Privacy Policy periodically for changes. We will post the date the Privacy Policy was last updated at the top of the Privacy Policy. The changes will go into effect on the “Last Updated” date shown in the revised Privacy Policy. By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to the revised Privacy Policy.
